Meet on Last Wednesday of the Month at 7.30pm
Next Meeting: 25 Apr 2018
The aim of the club is to provide an enjoyable opportunity for people to meet and improve their knowledge of gardening by listening to talks and visiting nurseries and private gardens.
The group meets on the last Wednesday of each month in the village hall at 7:30pm in winter and at given times for summer visits. There is no meeting in December.
Tea or coffee and biscuits follow each winter meeting.
Members attending garden visits pay transport costs and entrance fees to the garden, usually to the charity the garden is supporting.
Our main social event is in August when we visit two gardens in the village and have a glass of wine to finish the evening.
There is an annual subscription of £10.00 that covers the cost of speakers and hall hire. It also enables you to obtain a discount at various garden centers on production of your membership card.
Members are also entitled to purchase reduced price seeds through the club.
